On March 20th, the International College held a cultural exchange activity with the theme of "Listening-Passing-Me and My China". Song Zhiqi, an associate professor in vocal music department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music and a young tenor singer, was invited to be the keynote speaker of the event, sharing vocal knowledge and singing skills with party and government leaders of international colleges, Chinese language teachers and representatives of more than 40 overseas students from countries along the "the belt and road initiative", and teaching the singing of bel canto My People，My Country. The event was conducted in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Teachers and students of international colleges actively participated in exchanges and interactions, and overseas students also brought the talent show of Chinese pop songs to a climax. Many international students who participated in this activity said that learning to sing Chinese songs for the first time is an unforgettable cultural experience. This kind of learning method, which goes from language class to music class and expresses common emotions with common art forms of human beings, has been widely recognized by teachers and students of the college.

This exchange activity is an important measure for the Party branch directly under the International College to further promote the ideological construction of the Party, make good use of the red cultural resources, do a good job in the ideological field, and strengthen the management of propaganda and public opinion positions.
