This newspaper (correspondent Chen Zongsheng) learned from the letter from the Chinese-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education on December 17 that our school has been approved for the international Chinese teacher scholarship online program with a training period of one semester and a training fund of 285,000 yuan.

The International Chinese Teacher Scholarship Online Program is an online Chinese training program conducted by the Chinese-foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education to fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, provide a group of Chinese scholars abroad with opportunities to continue their studies by using the Internet, expand the scale of online international students, and support universities. Since the project application started, the International College has actively applied for and made a comprehensive publicity. After the enrollment procedures such as material review, assessment and recommendation, communication and feedback, it has recommended 100 students from Vietnam, Russia, the United States, Australia, Romania and Kazakhstan to the Chinese-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education, and finally won the international Chinese teacher scholarship online project.

The International Chinese Teacher Scholarship Online Project is the first time that our school has been approved as a foreign student scholarship project by the Chinese-foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education, which promotes the improvement of the quality of international students and the optimization of the source structure, and lays a solid foundation for the large-scale and systematic development of online education for international students.
