International College Held a Seminar on Undergraduate Teaching Reform for International Students in China

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the National Education Conference and the National Conference on Undergraduate Education in Colleges and Universities in the New Era, on November 17, the International College held a seminar on undergraduate teaching reform for international students in Class C 3-206, attended by Vice President Li Yupeng, and attended by the leaders of the Higher Education Center and the International College and teachers' representatives.


Representatives from various departments and all teachers of the college made keynote speeches. Combining with the teaching practice, we discussed the topics of "the direction of international education in the post-epidemic era", "the deficiency and reflection in teaching Chinese as a foreign language" and "the application of online teaching and online testing", aiming at improving teachers' ability and comprehensively improving the teaching level of the college, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions on the education and teaching of overseas students in China.


Li Yupeng made a concluding speech. She stressed that international college teachers should keep in mind the initial intention and mission of international educators, clarify "what kind of people to train", constantly strengthen the position of undergraduate teaching center, and insist on cultivating talents with global leadership of "knowing, loving and loving China". As a fundamental task, we should pay attention to the innovation of talent training mode, pay attention to the improvement of teachers' teaching ability, strengthen the construction of first-class English brand courses and golden courses for overseas students under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, build consensus, and build distinctive features.


Through this meeting, we have clarified the working ideas, defined the goals of undergraduate teaching reform in international colleges in the future, and enhanced our confidence in promoting international education and future development.
